PRIVACY

Last updated June 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what data Shine collects, why we collect it and how we keep it safe. We aim to collect only what we need to run your account, license and loader.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: your username, email address and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
  • License data: your UID, role, subscription dates and a hardware identifier (HWID) used to bind your license to one machine.
  • Usage data: basic technical information such as request logs needed to operate and secure the service.

2. How we use your data

  • Create and manage your account and subscription.
  • Authenticate you and keep your session secure.
  • Bind and verify your license through your HWID.
  • Prevent abuse, fraud and sharing of accounts.
  • Respond to support requests.

3. Sessions and cookies

When you sign in, we set a single httpOnly session cookie that holds a signed token. It keeps you logged in and cannot be read by client-side scripts. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

4. Storage and security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt before storage. Sessions are signed tokens with a limited lifetime. We apply reasonable technical measures to protect your data, though no system can be guaranteed fully secure.

5. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary to run the service, for example with a payment provider to process a purchase, or where required by law.

6. Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal or security obligations.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data. You can change your password from your cabinet at any time. For any other request, contact us using the details below.

8. Children

Shine is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected here, and continued use of Shine means you accept the updated policy.
